Mid-Century Love

New clients, Wendy and Bert Ruiz wanted to renovate their 1950's mid-century modern home while staying true to the architect's original vision for the Sputnik era abode.  Located in the Braeburn neighborhood of Southwest Houston, this 3,000 square foot mid-century ranch brings the outdoors in with views from every room of the central courtyard and swimming pool. We wanted to showcase the homeowner's love of art with white walls, accented by pops of bold colors and prints on the fabrics, furniture, wallpaper, and tile.  We love this mid-century modern dream home.

Contemporary Couture

First impressions matter when it comes to your home.  These homeowners wanted their contemporary custom home to feel cool and collected.  We used muted tones to give the space an open and airy feel and added pops of orange and blue to keep it from looking sterile.  The warm wood tones on the ceiling add to the contemporary charm of this Montrose neighborhood home.  We wouldn't mind having a meal in this space.

Tastefully Traditional

The traditional features of this family home make a perfect backdrop for a warm and welcoming space.  The homeowners were looking for a more buttoned-up feel to their existing home.  We gathered items that they already owned and loved and paired them with newly sourced furnishings for a finished polished look.  The gallery wall and punched up cabinet colors are a couple of our favorite things about this project.  We also love the warm hues and color tones in this home.

Fredricksburg Charmer

Located two blocks from the main street in beautiful historic Fredricksburg, Nagel Haus is a fresh and inviting 1907 bed and breakfast in the heart of Texas wine country. New owners, Carrie and Jason Ball, wanted guests to feel relaxed, in a cozy modern space, that is reflective of the town's German heritage and cool Texas vibes. We wouldn't mind staying here for a long weekend.

Art Deco Highrise

Inspired by the art and architecture of the 1920s and '30s, this Art Deco highrise is bold and beautiful. Located in the Houston medical center, our clients wanted a Hollywood glam look for their home.  We used bold feminine colors, geometric shapes, and vintage art and lighting to get the look just right. We can't stop staring at the silky smooth high-gloss cabinets in this stunning home!

Tailored Transitional

Bold colors, warm wood tones, soft fabrics, and playful prints make this home the perfect place to call home. We combined traditional style with contemporary furnishings and finishes to get the tailored look our client was looking to obtain. This timeless, yet sophisticated home brings new meaning to transitional.  Who doesn't want a cowboy hat and horse saddle by the door?
